Apple Intelligence is the new suite of AI-powered features for the latest iPhone, iPad and Mac models. Apple Intelligence uses generative models and personal context to help users communicate, be productive and express themselves.
Apple Intelligence is available for all App State users with university-managed devices that meet the following requirements:
The device must fall within the following hardware requirements:
iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max;
any iPad with A17 Pro or M1 and later;
Mac with M1 or later;
Apple Vision Pro
The device must be updated to the latest software version iPadOS (18.1 or later) and macOS (15.1 or later).
The device and Siri language must be set to the same supported language.

With Apple Intelligence, your data stays secure.
Your requests are processed on your device whenever possible.
When cloud processing is required, Apple uses Private Cloud Compute, which ensures that data is never stored or accessible to Apple or third parties.
No data is retained—your information remains private and under your control.
This tool is approved for use with all university data classifications—including confidential, sensitive, internal and public data. However, while Apple Intelligence meets our security standards, other AI tools may not. Avoid entering sensitive or personal information into other AI platforms, and do not store such data on university-managed devices unless explicitly authorized.
