Custom AI Assistants for App State: Explore Pre-Built Google Gemini Gems

The Gemini Working Group, a subgroup of the AI Technical Team, has created a collection of Google Gemini Gems. These AI assistants are pre-loaded with instructions, guidelines and resources available to assist faculty, staff and students with specialized tasks.

Key features

  • Customized workflows: Build specialized tools to automate administrative tasks, develop course content or support complex assignments.

  • Grounded in App State-specific resources: Attach department guidelines and resources directly to your assistant to get precise responses.

  • Easy sharing: Create a Gem once and replicate it to share with colleagues, departments or classmates.

Try out these Gemini Gems in your workflows, or use them as inspiration to create your own (instructions for building your custom Gems are included)!
